1. The Institute may bring a class action to the employer on behalf of workers in the bargaining unit who feel aggrieved by the usual interpretation or application for those workers of a provision of a collective agreement or arbitration award. (b) such information shall be communicated to workers by communications published by the employer in places where such communications are most likely to be brought to the attention of the workers subject to the appeal proceedings, or in another manner agreed between the employer and the Institute. The PIPSC professional sections of Audit, Commerce &purchasing (AV), Audit, Financial and Scientific – CRA (AFS) and Applied Science and Patent Examination Group (SP) have guaranteed these measures in their preliminary group-specific agreements. Other pipsc groups will be able to do the same as soon as they have reached preliminary agreements at their negotiating tables. . . .
