All authorized first-year students who complete high school outside of a 30-mile radius of SJSU must live on campus for the first year. The sooner you deposit your registration fee of 50 $US, your license agreement concluded and a first housing payment, the more likely you are to get your preference in the gym. The university continues to encourage all students to live at least two years on campus while they study at the university. Welcome to University Housing Services! To log in to the UHS Apartment Portal and begin the process of applying for accommodation on the San Jose State University campus, please enter your SJSU ID number and login password above (which you obtained upon admission to SJSU). If you have just been admitted to the SJSU, please wait 3-5 business days to obtain your SJSU ID number and university enrollment information, and then you can log in to the UHS Housing Portal. If you are a new faculty or staff member who does not yet have a SJSU Staff Identification Number, please email or call the housing office at 408-795-5600 and we will help you. Once you`ve signed up, be sure to check each page carefully so you have the information you need to make the most appropriate choice for your accommodation and meal plan (and, if applicable, parking). Applicants should be prepared to pay a non-refundable application fee of $50.00, an upfront payment (applied to accommodation costs) and to electronically sign all license documents. Applications will only be processed once all steps have been completed (online application, filing of a non-refundable application fee of USD 50.00 (without returning residents), online licensing agreement and receipt of initial payment for accommodation).
